The new Turkish low-cost airline AJet is going to start flights on March 31, 2024. Tickets for flights of this discounter are already on sale on the official website of the airline and from agents.
AJet is a subsidiary airline of the national Turkish air carrier Turkish Airlines. It originated as a reincarnation of another budget carrier that existed in this country – AnadoluJet, which was founded in 2008 to meet the needs for transportation from the Anatolia region.
AJet reports that by the summer of 2024, it will have 95 aircraft in its fleet and will fly to a total of 93 destinations: 41 domestic routes and 52 international routes. In total, she plans to fly to 44 countries, including Northern Cyprus, as well as to many countries where AnadoluJet has flown. One-way tickets from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir to European capitals such as Belgrade, Budapest, Vienna cost about 60-90 US dollars. Despite the fact that the airline has announced plans to fly from Turkey to Moscow, there are no tickets for the Russian capital on sale yet.
