A new route has appeared on the map of European railways: a high-speed ICE train has started running between Paris and Berlin. The journey between the capitals of France and Germany is only 8 hours. Previously, getting from one city to another required at least one transfer.
The train runs daily, it departs from Paris at 09:55 a.m. local time and arrives in Berlin at 18:03. In Berlin, the train starts moving at 11:54 a.m. and arrives in Paris at 7:55 p.m. There are stops along the way in Strasbourg (France), Karlsruhe (Germany) and Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
Tickets for this train can be purchased on the official websites of national railways. To do this, you will have to use a plastic card issued by foreign banks or from agents. The one-way fare in the most budget 2nd class starts from about 60 euros (about 6,000 rubles).
