Russians were allowed to sell mortgaged property

The State Duma has passed a law that allows citizens-mortgagors to independently sell property mortgaged in a bank. The document gives the right to a Russian citizen who has taken out such a loan for non-entrepreneurial purposes to independently sell the mortgaged property.

Now you just need to submit an appropriate application. The right to sell is granted regardless of the amount of the loan taken.

Further, within 10 days after receiving the application for independent sale, the pledgee must determine the minimum price of the property being sold, below which it will be impossible to sell.

The proceeds will be credited to the bank account. The difference between the amount of the loan debt and the sale price is returned to the pledgor minus the costs incurred by the pledgee.

The law prohibits individuals from selling mortgaged property if, prior to submitting an application for independent sale, a claim for foreclosure was filed against it or it is the subject of previous and subsequent mortgages.

Earlier it became known that the rent of one-room apartments rose in price in April in 44 major cities of Russia.
