According to the Aviatorshchyna telegram channel, the Ural Airlines Sochi – Kazan flight was delayed due to the fact that the senior flight attendant injured his shoulder during a demonstration to passengers of the rules for using a life jacket.
The incident occurred on board the aircraft, which was supposed to operate flight U6508. The airline’s press service explained that their employee made an overly abrupt hand movement during the briefing and injured the left shoulder joint.
An ambulance was called to the flight attendant, and the Airbus A320 airliner with 163 passengers on board was returned to the parking lot. Flight from Sochi flew to Kazan with a delay of an hour and a half.
The flight attendant’s injury turned out to be serious, and he had to undergo surgery.
