The Ministry of Economic Development advocates simplifying the entry of data into the electronic voucher system.
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has submitted proposals to the Government to simplify the work of tour operators and increase the speed of filling out electronic vouchers. This is reported by ATOR with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development.
The Agency proposes to remove such items as “Rights and obligations of the parties”, “Terms of termination of the contract”, “Information on the procedure for pre-trial interaction of the parties to the contract”. In addition, the addition of the ability to enter data on “urgent” tours (implemented less than 24 hours before the scheduled travel date) is initiated.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia notes that the attitude in the tourist market to the electronic voucher is still ambiguous. According to many experts, its mandatory use was introduced earlier than it actually earned, for the travel business it mainly incurs additional costs, but its real benefits for tourists are in doubt.
