More than 5 million Russian tourists visited Belarus in 2023.
According to Belstat data, in 2023 Belarus was visited by more than 4 million tourists from Russia, including both individual travelers and families.
“Over the past two or three years, we have seen an annual increase in tourist flows in terms of organized tourists and in The Russian Federation, and from The Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus, there is an annual increase of 50%,” TASS quotes the words of Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism of Belarus Oleg Andreychik.
According to the Deputy minister, 250 thousand Belarusian organized tourists traveled to Russia in the previous year.
At the end of 2023, Oleg Andreychik made a forecast according to which the total number of foreign tourists visiting Belarus by the end of 2023 would be about 6 million people.
