The flight from Irkutsk to Beijing is delayed for almost a day

Рейс из Иркутска в Пекин задерживается почти на сутки

The departure of flight S7 6313 from Irkutsk to Beijing has already been delayed for 17 hours, and, most likely, the delay will be even more significant. As the subscribers of our telegram channel “Roof of the Tourist House” told us, the plane was supposed to leave for the Chinese capital today at 01:50. However, the time was moved first to 20:10, and then to 22:00 (17:00 Moscow time). That is, the flight will be delayed for almost a day, while there are no guarantees that the airbus will still go along the route.

“We found out about everything just before departure, passengers were warned over the speakerphone that the flight was delayed for 40 minutes, and then representatives of the airline clarified that the delay was more serious,” she shared with TourDom.ru Natalia, a resident of Vladivostok, who is flying to the Chinese capital with her family for spring break. According to her, those passengers who had Beijing as the end point of the route were accommodated in a hotel and provided with food: “A good double room, there are no complaints about food either.”

Tourists who used Beijing Daxing as a connecting airport for further travel were less fortunate. “There are quite a lot of them, maybe half of the plane. Upon learning that the flight would not take place on time, they began to shout, make a row, some tried to get certificates of flight cancellation in order to refund the money spent on air tickets,” our interlocutor said.

The delay, as explained to passengers by the airline, occurred due to the fact that the flight was not coordinated by the Chinese side. Editorial Office TourDom.ru I sent a request to S7 asking for comment on the situation.

Russian carriers have already had problems with approving flights on the Chinese route. So, at the end of December last year, Rossiya Airlines was forced to cancel flights to Beijing from Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk, because it did not have time to conclude the necessary contracts and fully comply with the requirements of the Chinese side. As a result, passengers were transported to China by Russia’s partner companies.
