It is planned to launch a sea taxi between Sochi and Novorossiysk this year. The seaside towns will be connected by a fast route, along which two catamarans will run, each with a capacity of 340 passengers. In a day, such a vessel is able to get from Sochi to Novorossiysk and back. The journey by sea will take about 4 hours, there will be food on board.

The cost of tickets is still unknown, but it is reported that the trips will be twice as cheaper. Thus, it can be assumed that the ticket will cost passengers 600-700 rubles, based on the existing prices of bus and railway carriers.

The project was estimated at 1.2 billion rubles, the documents have already been prepared, negotiations are underway with investors, said Ilya Shakalov, General Director of the Krasnodar Territory Development Fund.

In the future, the organization of similar routes to the seaports of Abkhazia and Georgia.

How to get from Sochi to Novorossiysk

There is one train and several bus routes between the seaside towns. A train ride will take a passenger 7 hours and 27 minutes, including a long parking in Krasnodar. The ticket costs from 1300 rubles. If you need to leave on the next dates, there may not be any empty seats on the train, the direction is in great demand by both tourists and locals.

To get from Sochi to Novorossiysk by bus, you need to spend 8-10 hours on the way. Most of the flights are transit flights, they connect Sochi Airport with Anapa and Novorossiysk. The ticket price starts from 1400 rubles. Buses follow the highway along the sea, the schedules indicate many stops in the villages along the way.

A taxi from Sochi to Novorossiysk will cost at least 10 thousand rubles, depending on demand.

During the warm season, Comets and Griffins run from Novorossiysk to Sochi and back, with a stop in Gelendzhik. The travel time for the full route ranges from 5 to 6 hours.
