Tourists wishing to visit New Zealand will have to spend more money this fall – the country significantly increases the cost of entry into the country. From October 1, this fee will triple. Travelers will have to pay 100 New Zealand dollars (5.5 thousand rubles) instead of the previous 35. Also, starting from this date, it will become 60% more expensive to obtain a tourist visa. You will need to pay 211 New Zealand dollars (11.7 thousand rubles) for it.
In total, expenses will almost double. Nevertheless, this will not be particularly noticeable in the structure of total travel costs. According to the calculations of the local Ministry of Tourism, state collections will amount to no more than 3% of the average travel budget.
