Russia is showing great interest in launching direct flights to Bangladesh. This was announced by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism of the South Asian state. They refer to the words of the Russian Ambassador to this country, Alexander Mantytsky. If the translation from Bengali is correct, he said at one of the meetings that “the Russians would prefer to visit Bangladesh rather than other states if direct air communication is established between Moscow and Dhaka.”
Tourists did not take these words seriously: “These are just diplomatic pleasantries, nothing more, but they believed,” subscribers of the telegram channel “Roof of the Tourist House” discuss the news. According to the results of the survey, out of more than a thousand people who voted, only four people managed to visit Bangladesh. Nevertheless, 27% of respondents are not averse to visiting this Asian country.
However, some dissuade them: “It is a very peculiar culture. It’s about like India, only all the cons are multiplied by two. I am not impressed by such exoticism.”
