Fly Arna has lost its operator’s certificate

Fly Arna лишилась сертификата эксплуатанта

The Armenian airline Fly Arna, which announced the suspension of operations a couple of months ago, will not resume operations for the next 6 months: the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia suspended the operator’s certificate until September 7, 2024 after the only aircraft of this air carrier was excluded from the aircraft register of Armenia, the newspaper reports NEWS.am . In the future, if the airline does not receive a new airliner, it will lose the right to make commercial flights.

Recall that in the summer of 2023, Fly Arna began making flights to Moscow, but now they have been completely canceled. Since December 3, 2023, the airline has stopped selling tickets, but its representatives have made a statement that these are only temporary technical difficulties and travel documents will soon appear in the system. But then a statement appeared on the airline’s official website that flights had been suspended due to ongoing operational changes, and the airline was working on resuming services as soon as possible and expected to be able to continue serving passengers soon.
