In Ordzhonikidze district of Khakassia, two snowboarders were caught in an avalanche. Fortunately, they were not injured.
The incident occurred on a ski slope in the village of Priiskovy in the foothills of the Kuznetsk Alatau. Other vacationers immediately came to the aid of the injured.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it was possible to save the snowboarders only thanks to the quick reaction of others and special sensors with an audible signal that determines the location of a person.
The authorities of Khakassia remind that the snow is heavy and unstable in spring. Safety rules must be observed during skiing.
